Presentation of the New Features

1) ROUTE
The start and finish of the 20th edition of DHL Sereďmaratón are moving to Námestie slobody Street, which will be completely closed to traffic. The organizers aim to provide a safer finish, greater rider comfort, and a more attractive atmosphere for spectators. Another new feature is the route passing through the spa town of Piešťany.

2) AWARD FOR 20TH PLACE
The number 20 carries special significance this year, so the organizers decided to award a special prize to the rider finishing in 20th place.

3) DUŠAN HOLBÍK AWARD
The first rider to reach the first mountain sprint at Havran (the highest point on the route) will receive the Dušan Holbík Award, presented in honor of the founder of ŠK Cyklo-Tour Sereď and the founder of Sereďmaratón.

4) FINISH AREA CLOSURE
To increase safety, the organizers and the City of Sereď agreed on a complete closure of the start and finish area.

5) SLOVAK ARMED FORCES ON THE COURSE
In cooperation with the Armed Forces of the Slovak Republic, members of the armed forces will assist in ensuring safety along the course.

6) MIELE
Miele has become a new partner of the anniversary edition and has prepared attractive raffle prizes, including premium household appliances.

7) AGRARIA
Agraria is the Premium Partner of the 20th DHL Sereďmaratón and the children's Sereďmaratónik.

8) DEVIONIC
Devionic is the technical partner of both DHL Sereďmaratón and Sereďmaratónik and will provide technical support before and during the event.

9) FREE SEREĎMARATÓNIK
Thanks to the Participatory Budget of the Trnava Self-Governing Region and our successful project, this year's children's race will be free of charge for all young participants.

10) FOOD SELECTION + VEGAN OPTION
Participants will be able to choose from four meal options, including one vegan meal. A special children's menu will also be available.

11) MORE CHILDREN'S ACTIVITIES
A rich children's program will be available throughout the day, including games, competitions, and a relaxation zone with bean bags.

12) MEDIA SUPPORT
A new media partner joins DHL Sereďmaratón for its 20th edition.

13) MATÚŠOVA ZEM REGIONAL TOURISM ORGANIZATION
A new partner of DHL Sereďmaratón is the Regional Tourism Organization Matúšova zem, which has long promoted the region through cultural, social, and sporting events. DHL Sereďmaratón perfectly fits this philosophy. The route passes through several municipalities of the region, offering participants a unique opportunity to discover its diversity, atmosphere, and hospitality.

14) VITALITY CABIN
In the HaloRED Vitality Salt Cabin, visitors inhale pure pharmaceutical-grade salt ground into scientifically proven microparticles. These particles reach deep into the respiratory tract, helping clear mucus, reduce swelling, support airway cleansing, and lower the occurrence of infections. The best-ranked rider from Sereď will receive this special prize.

15) CARAVAN BIKE & TRAVEL FAIR – AGROKOMPLEX
For the first time, DHL Sereďmaratón was presented at the prestigious Caravan, Bike & Travel 2026 Fair in Nitra, bringing the race atmosphere directly to visitors. New features and the event program were introduced, and visitors could register under special conditions.

16) FREE PARKING
Bonus Plus VIP package holders will have access to VIP parking. Maps and capacities of all parking zones can be found on the website under Information – Maps.

17) MERCHANDISE
The organizers have prepared a special anniversary edition of T-shirts and bottles.

18) FOOD COURT FOR VISITORS
Throughout the day, spectators can enjoy burgers, traditional Slovak langoš, waffles, soft ice cream, cotton candy, and many other refreshments.

19) +20 ADDITIONAL REGISTRATIONS
After reaching full capacity, the organizers decided to open registration for an additional 20 participants. These spots sold out almost immediately.
